About Us

As two retired people (Eleanor Bookman and Brian Goodfellow) we were looking for something to do together. We heard that the Kinette Club of Cornwall was trying to raise funds for their “Chosen Soldier Project” to send care packages to our troops in Afghanistan. So after giving this much thought, we designed our own Canadian Red car magnetic ribbon that is UV protected and weather proofed, keeping in mind wear red on Fridays and our own Canadian red maple leaf. This project won the Kinette Club the national service award!
Since then we haven't looked back.

With the help of military clubs and many small and large businesses allowing us to offer our red ribbons we raised approx. $7.000. for the care packages, 100% of net profits, and then changed to several different funds for our wounded and disabled troops for which they have earned, and also the families of our troops.
As of February 1, 2012 we have reached a total of $45,200. and growing.
